Beyond Curriculum: A week dedicated to philanthropy

While teaching at Edmond Santa Fe, I have had a lot of wonderful experiences. However, the most exciting thing I've ever experienced is Double Wolf Dare Week. It is MAGIC! What is this magical thing? Well Double Wolf Dare Week, better known as DWDW, is Edmond Santa Fe's annual philanthropy week. Student Council leads the week, but the entire school gets involved! The kids pick a new theme every year and do all sorts of things to raise money. Leading up to DWDW there are food nights that local restaurants sponsor, formal dances, basketball tournaments, and so much more. However, there is nothing like the actual week of DWDW. Every day we have a dress-up day to go along with the years theme.
